Babies in general are just the cutest. I personally am the super proud mom of three of the cutest boys ever! That being said, much of my papercrafts tend to have a masculine feel to them. I don't do a lot in pinks and yellows, not a lot of flowers or things like that. I love them, but they don't really go with pictures of boys doing flying leaps and shooting hoops, you know?
What's this have to do with this week's card? Since I had an extra sheet of the polka dot embossed, watercolored background after last week's card, I wanted to use it in this week's card. (This was from my first attempt at the watercolor/emboss technique. It came out pretty well except for my very first dot...my brush was too wet and the color spread too far. I kept the piece anyway since the rest looked good. I figured I could use it on another card. Well, after I trimmed off the messed up piece, of course.) After searching Pinterest for some inspiration, I came up with this baby card.
The card can be used for a baby shower, a congrats on the pregnancy, or a congrats welcoming the new one. Colors can easily be changed for a boy.
I used this technique for watercoloring and the rest is really the magic of stamps with coordinating dies or punches. Easy card to recreate!
