Yesterday, I had a crafting day at my house. Most of the attendees scrapbooked, but I decided to sew.(Even though I really need to finish the two paper craft projects I have in progress!) I made a crayon roll with this cute robot material and coordinating stripe fabric. It holds 16 crayons. I'm working on how to close it. I thought I would deviate from the instructions I found and use ribbon to tie it close. Didn't work out so well. I am going to make another soon with a different closure method. Then I'll post the instructions I used with my experience mixed in. Here are some pics of the first attempt....
