A Few Items

Couple of items on my mind....
  1. The Johnson Space Center Holiday Fair is this Saturday, November 6 from 10-5 pm at the Gilruth Center on Space Center Blvd.  Yours truly will be there selling the holiday cards I've been posting and taking orders for flower pins.  Hopefully I will get some more flowers made before Saturday to post here.  Please come by and support the local crafting community.
  2. I've been in a rush lately, prepping for the Holiday Fair.  I've only been making quick posts of cards and trying to include the supplies.  If you ever have a question on products or a how-to question, leave me a comment.  I will do my best to answer you - even if it means I have to research an answer.  I love techniques and sharing information with others.  In the future I will try to do some tutorials with tips and tricks to make things easier.

Starry Night

One last post of the night with another set of cards.  These are in jewel tones and look very elegant.  The photos don't do them justice (it was cloudy today - not enough natural light). TFL!

Supplies: Starry Night Album Kit (CM), Merry Christmas Stamp (Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous)

4x4 Cards

Here are two other sets of cards I made.  Again, I went with a different size than the usual A2.  I wanted to add some variety.  These are both 4"x4" cards - so quick to make!  TFL!

Supplies: Old Olive paper (SU), white embossing powder (SU), white chalking ink (CM), Pattern paper (Figgy Pudding - Basic Grey), Dove and sentiment stamps (Michael's)
Supplies: Kraft cardstock, Home Accents Cricut cartridge, Muirfield Treasures Designer Series Paper (SU), clear rhinestones (Recollections), Real Red ink (SU), Clear Stamps

Last Texas Christmas Cards

Here are pics of the last set of Texas-themed Christmas cards I made.  These are A7 size, instead of the A2 size I usually do.  I had to get the "Merry Texmas" stamp to fit.  Supplies used are the same as the previous Texas cards.

Cowboy Christmas

Thought I would continue with my Texas-themed cards.  This set was a little more time-consuming just because of all the little details.  I couldn't forget anything.  Here is the set of cards I made...

Supplies: Old West Cricut cartridge, Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge, Merry Texmas stamp (Texana Designs), Distress Inks - Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Frayed Burlap, Antique Linen (Tim Holtz/Ranger), Brown Star paper (Jenni Bowlin/Co'oredinations)

Snowflake Card

Another card I made for the JSC Holiday Fair.  This was quick card to make - simple but elegant.

Supplies: White cards, Snow Flake Impressions Folder (SU), clear rhinestones, Stormy Sky and Sailboat Blue Alcohol Ink (Ranger), Sincere Salutations stamp set (SU)

With this card, it was all about the details.  I started with a simple white card and embossed the card front using my Big Shot.  Then I sprayed the front with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist.  While the cards were drying, I used some alcohol inks to color some clear rhinesones the perfect winter blue.  Attached my blue bling to snowflake centers and stamped my sentiment.  Quick and easy!

Check out the card photo slideshow on the left to see more pictures of my cards. TFL!
